Earn Your Keep (EYK) and On-Target Earnings (OTE) -- What's The Difference and How They Work Together
We use a system called Earn Your Keep (EYK) to help you grow your base salary by hitting important milestones. You start at a lower base that is defined during your final interview, and as you prove your value ("earn your keep") and hit specific goals, your salary increases step-by-step — all the way up to your target base.
OTE means On-Target Earnings — your total potential monthly income if you also earn commissions, bonuses, or performance incentives.
Here’s how it works:
EYK = Your salary growth path
OTE = What you can earn if you perform well
Note: If you're already at your max base pay after hitting the final milestone and earn more bonuses = You can go beyond your OTE based on your monthly performance.

About the Role
Lycan is looking for an Investor Relations Officer to be the bridge between our bold vision and the capital that fuels it — someone who can communicate, cultivate, and convert interest into investment by aligning Lycan’s mission with the right partners at the right time.
Role Overview
As Lycan’s Investor Relations Officer, your mission is to build long-term trust and alignment with investors — whether they are angel investors, strategic partners, or institutional funds. You’ll develop compelling communications, manage investor pipelines, support due diligence processes, and ensure that Lycan’s fundraising efforts reflect both purpose and performance.
You’ll work closely with the CEO and executive team to turn key milestones into persuasive narratives, prepare materials for funding rounds, and maintain ongoing relationships with stakeholders who believe in Lycan’s impact and growth potential.
Primary Objectives
Drive Fundraising Efforts and Investor Outreach: Identify, qualify, and nurture relationships with investors who align with Lycan’s mission and growth strategy.
Communicate Progress with Clarity and Credibility: Create decks, updates, and data-backed stories that earn investor confidence and engagement.
Coordinate Due Diligence and Data Room Management: Prepare documents, financials, compliance files, and pitch materials that support funding success.
Foster Long-Term Stakeholder Relationships: Ensure current and potential investors feel seen, informed, and inspired to participate in Lycan’s journey.
Key Tasks & How They're Done
Create & Maintain Investment Collateral
→ Draft and update investor decks, executive summaries, business plans, and one-pagers.
Manage Investor CRM & Pipeline
→ Track leads, follow-ups, feedback, and relationship status using a CRM or structured tracker.
Coordinate Investment Calls & Meetings
→ Schedule and prep the CEO or leadership for investor calls, pitches, and follow-ups.
Build Monthly or Quarterly Updates
→ Share compelling highlights, metrics, and insights with active and prospective investors.
Support Financial and Legal Readiness
→ Work with finance, legal, and compliance to assemble due diligence documents and legal contracts.

Head of Investor Relations: Own Lycan’s fundraising communication strategy, capital partnerships, and investor experience across all business units.
Director of Capital Strategy or Corporate Development: Lead fundraising rounds, investment deal structuring, and institutional investor negotiations.
Strategic Finance or Chief Fundraising Officer (CFO track): Oversee capital planning, scenario modeling, and financial strategy aligned with company growth targets.
Co-Founder or Investor Liaison in Spinouts or Subsidiaries: Represent Lycan in raising capital or managing stakeholders for new verticals, regions, or companies.
EYK Milestone Track (PHP18,000 → PHP75,000/month + Bonuses + Equity Eligibility)
Each milestone is tied to strategic fundraising results, investor pipeline traction, and communication systems that enable Lycan to consistently raise and manage capital with confidence.
Milestone 1 → PHP30,000/month
Develop and present a complete investor kit (deck, one-pager, financial snapshot, and narrative brief), approved by the CEO and used in at least 5 external investor meetings with at least 1 successful investor onboarding
Milestone 2 → PHP42,000/month
Build and maintain an active investor pipeline of 100+ qualified leads with statuses tracked, follow-ups recorded, and segmented by investor type and region.
Milestone 3 → PHP55,000/month
Facilitate successful closure or commitment of ₱20M+ in investor funds (equity, royalty-based, convertible note, or hybrid), directly supported or sourced by you.
Milestone 4 → PHP65,000/month
Design and implement a quarterly investor communications system — including branded update emails, dashboard-style reports, and follow-up surveys — used for 2+ quarters.
Milestone 5 → PHP75,000/month + Equity Eligibility
Represent Lycan in a full funding round (e.g., Seed, Pre-A, or bridge round), co-lead investor negotiations, and deliver a full closing report including documentation, disbursement prep, and compliance support.
Additional Incentives
Capital Performance Bonus: For every major ₱5M+ fund or investor secured (beyond milestone 3), a cash bonus tier is unlocked.
Strategic Partnership Bonus: For investor-sourced partnerships that also contribute to distribution, manufacturing, or strategic growth.
Equity Option Track: Eligible after completing Milestone 4 or achieving ₱10M+ in capital directly supported.
