Earn Your Keep (EYK) and On-Target Earnings (OTE) -- What's The Difference and How They Work Together
We use a system called Earn Your Keep (EYK) to help you grow your base salary by hitting important milestones. You start at a lower base that is defined during your final interview, and as you prove your value ("earn your keep") and hit specific goals, your salary increases step-by-step — all the way up to your target base.
OTE means On-Target Earnings — your total potential monthly income if you also earn commissions, bonuses, or performance incentives.
Here’s how it works:
EYK = Your salary growth path
OTE = What you can earn if you perform well
Note: If you're already at your max base pay after hitting the final milestone and earn more bonuses = You can go beyond your OTE based on your monthly performance.
Want to earn a higher base pay and OTEs? Then leveling up and taking on the next role is the way to go!

About the Role
Lycan is looking for an Executive Partner to operate at the heart of the organization — working directly with the CEO to execute vision, streamline strategic initiatives, and ensure every major decision is followed through with clarity and precision.
Role Overview
As Lycan’s Executive Partner, you will serve as the CEO’s operational right hand — translating ideas into action, aligning stakeholders, managing key priorities, and removing roadblocks that slow down execution. This is not an admin role — it’s a strategic leadership extension that bridges high-level thinking and day-to-day impact.
You will work across departments, projects, and partners to help the CEO stay focused on what matters most, while making sure every idea that leaves the boardroom lands powerfully in the field.
Primary Objectives
Operationalize Strategic Vision: Break down CEO-driven priorities into actionable workstreams with clear accountability.
Drive Critical Projects Forward: Monitor and manage progress across cross-functional or sensitive projects that require high-level oversight.
Filter, Align, and Prioritize: Help the CEO sort through noise, structure decision-making, and protect time for high-value leadership work.
Represent the Office of the CEO: Handle communication, coordination, and issue resolution on behalf of the CEO across internal and external stakeholders.
Key Tasks & How They're Done
Run Strategic Check-ins and Execution Reviews
→ Track project status, highlight risks, and coordinate between teams to ensure momentum on key initiatives.
Document, Structure, and Delegate CEO Tasks
→ Turn vision into structured tasks and coordinate with department heads to drive results.
Coordinate High-Value Relationships & Meetings
→ Schedule, prep, and debrief CEO engagements with investors, partners, executives, or external collaborators.
Support Company-Level Communications
→ Draft internal memos, leadership updates, or CEO-facing briefs to ensure alignment and direction.
Anticipate Issues Before They Escalate
→ Keep your pulse on inter-team dynamics, project bottlenecks, and priority drift — and take early action.
Earning & Growth Opportunities
✓ Promotion to Chief of Staff or Strategic Ops Director: Manage executive-level programs, leadership agendas, and transformation initiatives across the company.
✓ Boardroom Exposure & Investor Readiness: Regular access to investor decks, strategic planning, and funding negotiations.
✓ Pathway to Executive Leadership Roles: Build qualifications to lead entire functions — operations, growth, or strategy — with deep cross-functional insight.
✓ Equity and Profit-Sharing Eligibility: For long-term trusted partners who consistently deliver high-leverage results.

Career Path Plan: Executive Partner (Office of the CEO)
The Executive Partner is not a stepping stone — it's a launchpad. You operate where decisions are made, risks are weighed, and visions are formed. Your job is to protect the CEO’s time, amplify their intent, and turn executive-level thinking into company-wide execution. As you grow, so does your influence across the entire organization.
Growth Pathways After This Role:
Chief of Staff: Own the executive operating system: manage CEO priorities, strategic calendars, executive rituals, and team leadership cadences.
Director of Strategic Operations: Lead company-wide initiatives that span product, growth, operations, and partnerships.
VP of Business Execution or Transformation: Oversee high-impact programs that shape Lycan’s long-term market footprint and industry leadership.
Co-Founder or Launch Partner (Subsidiaries/Spinouts): For top-tier performers, take equity and co-lead major new ventures under the Lycan umbrella.
EYK Milestone Track (PHP18,000 → PHP70,000/month + Bonuses + Equity Eligibility)
Each milestone should deliver high-leverage support for executive execution, project clarity, and strategic velocity — creating at least ₱1.5M in indirect value through accelerated initiatives, avoided delays, enhanced alignment, or strategic wins.
Milestone 1 → PHP30,000/month
Establish and maintain a CEO Execution Dashboard that tracks top 5–7 initiatives, owner alignment, progress blockers, and weekly status. Must be used consistently for 6+ weeks.
Value Created:
Protects CEO attention, prevents drift, and brings accountability to executive initiatives.
Milestone 2 → PHP42,000/month
Lead the successful execution or turnaround of 1 cross-functional project by unblocking dependencies, aligning owners, and driving completion with stakeholder satisfaction.
Value Created:
Recovers stalled or mission-critical momentum with substantial strategic value.
Milestone 3 → PHP55,000/month
Coordinate and deliver 2+ executive-level stakeholder briefings (investor update, board prep, strategic memos) with complete documentation and CEO endorsement.
Value Created:
Supports funding, trust, and perception among external partners or investors.
Milestone 4 → PHP65,000/month
Build and manage a Company-wide Leadership Rhythm — including strategic reviews, alignment meetings, and quarterly retros — fully rolled out and adopted by 3+ departments.
Value Created:
Boosts company-wide performance cadence; reduces organizational drag.
Milestone 5 → PHP70,000/month + Equity Eligibility
Act as the CEO's delegated lead for at least 1 high-level initiative (e.g., regional launch, investor coordination, new subsidiary setup) from initiation to outcome — fully trusted and closed without escalation.
Value Created:
Creates executive leverage; qualifies for long-term trust, bonus tier, and equity review.
Additional Bonuses & Incentives
Execution Bonus: For high-speed closure of top-priority CEO-led projects ahead of schedule or above expectations.
Equity Vesting Pathway: Available after 6–12 months of high performance, for ongoing high-impact strategic work.
Long-Term Trust Bonus: For partners entrusted with confidential and sensitive projects (e.g., M&A, IP, governance).
