Earn Your Keep (EYK) and On-Target Earnings (OTE) -- What's The Difference and How They Work Together
We use a system called Earn Your Keep (EYK) to help you grow your base salary by hitting important milestones. You start at a lower base that is defined during your final interview, and as you prove your value ("earn your keep") and hit specific goals, your salary increases step-by-step — all the way up to your target base.
OTE means On-Target Earnings — your total potential monthly income if you also earn commissions, bonuses, or performance incentives.
Here’s how it works:
EYK = Your salary growth path
OTE = What you can earn if you perform well
Note: If you're already at your max base pay after hitting the final milestone and earn more bonuses = You can go beyond your OTE based on your monthly performance.
Want to earn a higher base pay and OTEs? Then leveling up and taking on the next role is the way to go!

About the Role
Lycan is looking for a Community Cultural Designer to lead the creation of lifestyle, apparel, uniform, work clothes, and riding gear that doesn’t just represent Lycan — it spreads it. From head-turning shirts to functional riding gear, you'll shape how people wear, carry, and live the Lycan brand.
Role Overview
This role is central to building Lycan’s non-vehicle cultural identity. As the Community Cultural Designer, you’ll design original lifestyle products — including apparel, riding gear, accessories, and collectibles — that reflect our bold, electric spirit. More than just merchandise, these pieces become symbols of mobility, rebellion, and innovation.
You’ll collaborate closely with marketing, branding, and retail teams to turn creative concepts into sellable products — ones that customers love to wear, share, and show off.
Primary Objectives
Design Lycan Lifestyle Products: Create apparel, gear, and accessories that are stylish, durable, and distinctly "Lycan."
Translate Brand into Tangible Culture: Develop designs that tell a story and visually embody Lycan’s mission, values, and power.
Support Retail Sales Strategy: Align designs with dealership retail plans, seasonal drops, and customer demand.
Collaborate with Production Partners: Work with suppliers and printers to bring your concepts to life — on time, on spec, and on budget.
Key Tasks & How They're Done
Concept & Design Merchandise Lines: Use Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, or Procreate to draft t-shirts, caps, hoodies, patches, etc.
Create Product Mockups & Style Guides: Provide visual samples and spec sheets to help with production approval and consistency.
Coordinate with Vendors: Submit artwork to printers or suppliers; review samples; guide final production adjustments.
Prototype In-House Limited Releases: Test design drops in select dealerships to assess sales performance and customer feedback.
Support Brand Campaigns Visually: Collaborate with marketing to align releases with events, launches, or national movements.
Earning & Growth Opportunities
Royalties or Bonus-Based Compensation: Based on units sold, standout collection performance, or limited-edition sell-outs.
Promotion to Brand Creative Lead or Merchandising Director: Own the visual direction for Lycan across all non-vehicle touchpoints.
Opportunities for Artist Collaborations: Co-create with guest designers or ambassadors to produce hype-driven product lines.
Creative Showcase & Recognition: Your work may be spotlighted in national campaigns, flagship stores, or community events.
