Earn Your Keep (EYK) and On-Target Earnings (OTE) -- What's The Difference and How They Work Together

We use a system called Earn Your Keep (EYK) to help you grow your base salary by hitting important milestones. You start at a lower base that is defined during your final interview, and as you prove your value ("earn your keep") and hit specific goals, your salary increases step-by-step — all the way up to your target base.

OTE means On-Target Earnings — your total potential monthly income if you also earn commissions, bonuses, or performance incentives.

Here’s how it works:
EYK = Your salary growth path

OTE = What you can earn if you perform well

Note: If you're already at your max base pay after hitting the final milestone and earn more bonuses = You can go beyond your OTE based on your monthly performance.

About the Role

Lycan is looking for a Business Development Operations Manager to serve as the strategic engine behind our national expansion — turning vision into action, and action into scale.


Role Overview

This role bridges strategy and execution, ensuring that every dealership launch, production rollout, and business unit activation runs on time, on budget, and with impact. You'll work directly with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to operationalize growth plans across the country.


Primary Objectives


  1. Operationalize National Expansion Initiatives: Translate dealership, retail, and production growth plans into executable, trackable field operations.

  2. Enable Successful Partner Launches: Ensure every new Lycan partner — whether a dealer, regional investor, or facility operator — launches smoothly, efficiently, and with high ROI.

  3. Streamline Execution of Strategic Projects: Own the operational setup and day-to-day follow-through of key growth projects (production runs, facility builds, equipment delivery, etc.).

  4. Build Scalable Systems & Processes: Create tools, templates, and playbooks that turn messy execution into repeatable, scalable systems.

Key Tasks and How to Do Them


  • Project Manage Dealership and Facility Setups: Coordinate cross-functional workstreams (supply, finance, legal, ops) to launch partners on schedule.

  • Own the National Deployment Tracker: Maintain real-time dashboards that track progress of every expansion effort across the country.

  • Lead Execution of Growth Experiments: Pilot new dealership formats, retail ideas, and production workflows with field teams and report learnings.

  • Serve as a Growth Enabler for Regional BDRs: Provide the tools, approvals, and back-end support that lets field staff close deals and launch faster.

  • Manage Internal Documentation & Playbooks: Turn best practices into templates, Notion pages, SOPs, and checklists for use by all growth teams.

  • Coordinate Equipment & Inventory Mobilization: Work with logistics and supply chain to ensure every new location has what it needs to go live.

Growth Pathways After This Role:


  1. National Expansion Director: Lead all regional deployment teams and oversee the nationwide dealership & facility rollout strategy.

  2. Head of Business Operations: Take charge of end-to-end operations across departments, from supply chain to partner enablement and internal workflows.

  3. VP of Strategic Growth: Drive major company-wide growth initiatives and oversee strategic partnerships, go-to-market rollout, and scalability playbooks.

  4. Country Operations Lead Candidate: A future executive leadership role responsible for company-wide performance, expansion strategy, and operational excellence.


EYK Milestone Track

Starting Compensation: PHP25,000/month

Target OTE: Up to PHP75,000/month


Milestone 1 → PHP35,000/month

Milestone: Successfully launch and operationalize 2 dealerships or facilities, with no major delays and positive partner feedback.


Milestone 2 → PHP45,000/month

Milestone: Design and implement a repeatable launch playbook (Notion, templates, SOPs) used by at least 3 other teams or regions.


Milestone 3 → PHP55,000/month

Milestone: Lead the coordination of a multi-region deployment project involving 5+ partners, hitting at least 90% of milestones on time and on budget.


Milestone 4 → PHP65,000/month

Milestone: Automate or systematize one key operational bottleneck (e.g., equipment provisioning, progress tracking, or location setup).


Milestone 5 → PHP75,000/month

Milestone: Deploy a national operations framework that becomes the standard for all future dealership or facility launches. Must be in use by at least 3 regional teams.
