Electrical Engineer Consultant

Product Development Department
Consultant
PHP25,000 - PHP45,000
The role focuses on Li-Ion battery systems, electrical diagrams, wire harness design, and ensuring that all safety protocols and procedures are followed throughout the production process. You will play a critical role in shaping the future of sustainable mobility through technical expertise and thorough attention to safety, efficiency, and design.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Li-Ion Battery Management System (BMS):

  • Design, evaluate, and optimize Li-Ion battery systems, ensuring proper integration with the vehicle's overall powertrain and control units.

  • Develop and implement Battery Management Systems (BMS) for monitoring battery health, charging, discharging, and thermal management.

  • Conduct battery performance analysis, simulations, and testing to meet required performance standards and safety regulations.

2. Electrical Diagrams & Wire Harness Design:

  • Create comprehensive electrical schematics, circuit diagrams, and wiring harnesses for electric motorcycles.

  • Oversee the layout and routing of electrical systems to ensure proper connectivity, signal integrity, and electrical shielding.

  • Work closely with the design and production teams to ensure seamless integration of the electrical wiring architecture into the overall vehicle design.

3. Safety Procedures & Protocols:

  • Develop and implement robust electrical safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to be followed throughout the manufacturing process.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for high-voltage systems and Li-Ion battery handling.

  • Conduct risk assessments for electrical systems and recommend design adjustments to mitigate potential safety issues.

4. Design & Production Documentation:

  • Generate detailed technical drawings, circuit layouts, and wiring harness schematics for production, ensuring accuracy and manufacturability.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to support the production readiness of electrical subsystems, ensuring that all designs are feasible for large-scale production.

  • Lead the development of assembly guidelines and quality control documentation related to electrical components and systems.

5. Testing & Validation:

  • Oversee testing protocols to validate the electrical integrity, performance, and safety of all systems, including EMI/EMC compliance, insulation, and grounding checks.

  • Coordinate with testing facilities to validate the battery systems, electrical performance, and overall vehicle safety.

  • Analyze test data to provide recommendations for electrical system improvements and optimizations.

6. Project Collaboration & Support:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, industrial designers, and software developers to ensure system-level compatibility.

  • Provide technical support during the design and production phases, identifying and troubleshooting electrical issues as they arise.

  • Act as a subject matter expert on electrical engineering best practices, offering guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
